Arrival from Oklahoma City: Take Interstate 40 east from Oklahoma City, exiting at the first Shawnee exit (exit 181) at highway 177. Drive south on 177 for 2 miles to MacArthur Street. Turn left (east) onto MacArthur for one mile to the entrance gates of St. Gregory's Abbey. Approximate driving time from downtown Oklahoma City is 35 minutes.
Arrival from Tulsa: Take Interstate 44 (Turner Turnpike) west from Tulsa. Exit at Wellston, Oklahoma, which is Route 66. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left (east) on highway 66, and drive two miles. At the intersection with highway 177 turn right (south) toward Shawnee (about 25 miles). Two miles after passing under Interstate 40, one arrives at the intersection with MacArthur Street. Turn left (east) and drive approximately one mile to the entrance gates of St. Gregory's Abbey. Approximate driving time from downtown Tulsa is 1 hour 45 minutes.
Arrival from Ft. Smith: Take Interstate 40 west, exiting at Kickapoo Street, which is the second Shawnee exit. Drive south on Kickapoo about 1 1/2 miles to MacArthur Street. Turn right (west) and continue about 2 miles. The entrance gate of St. Gregory's Abbey is on the right. Approximate driving time from Ft. Smith is 2 hours.
The most convenient airport is Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City. It takes approximately 50 minutes to drive from the airport to the abbey.
