Br. Dominic Ramirez, O.S.B.

Brother Dominic professed vows as a monk of St. Gregory’s Abbey on August 20, 1979. He was instituted in the ministries of Acolyte and Reader in 2007.

Br. Dominic was born in Oklahoma City, where he attended Little Flower Catholic Church. He completed a bachelor's degree in pastoral ministry from Newman University in Wichita, KS.

Br. Dominic served various positions of ministry at St. Gregory's University and spent more than 14 years in parish ministry at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in East Los Angeles, St. Benedict's Parish in Montebello, CA, and Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Chickasha, OK. Part of his focus was providing ministry to Spanish-speaking youth of these parishes. He currently serves as Abbey Sacristan and Guest Master.
