General Retreat Information

Schedule: Registration begins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening of the retreat July 8 in the St. Gregory’s University Residence Hall Lobby. Opening session is at 8 p.m. The retreat will end by 3 p.m. Sunday. Retreatants will also be welcome to participate with the monks in their common prayer and, as much as possible, in the celebration of the Eucharist. There will be sufficient time for rest, silence, conversation, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Facilities: Participants in the retreats will stay in the university’s Duperou or DeGrasse residence halls. Each two rooms share a bathroom. All linens are provided. Meals beginning with Saturday breakfast will be in the monastic dining room. (A sandwich tray will be available after the Friday evening session.) Participants will be able to use the swimming pool and the aerobic center in their free time. They may also visit the Mabee-Gerrer Museum on campus.
